Casa Blanca in Santa Ana

Posted 1 year ago by avatar iggy in response to avatar fabienne's question: I'm a bit confused. What exactly is Casa Blanca around Santa Ana? Some people say it's a restaurant, some that it's a hotel. (give a different answer) .

Actually, it's none. Casa Blanca is an archaeological site, which has just opened near Chalchuapa, along the Pan-American Highway. It's made of some pyramids and a museum that tries to show the archaeological past of this region (it also has a section of about indigo production). There are excavations going on at moment there. You are welcome to visit it, it costs 4$.
