The San Salvador Zoo, in Mercado Central, may be another interesting sight in a town tour. The zoo is a bit small, but very quiet and attractive. The place is open from Tuesday to Sunday, between 9 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon. Entrance fee only 0.60 $. I would definitely go there a second time.
